| A couple of quick points: The hatch is yours, so you don't need to buy it. The test pipes are now his. He does not have to sell them. Obviously the pipes are worth more to him than the hatch, which is why he wanted to trade for them in the first place. Also there is a flaw in your price logic. The question is not what would he have sold the hatch for on CL - it is what could he sell (or you buy) the pipes for on CL. You want to retrade because you made a bad trade. However, nobody
forced you to do the initial deal. As a friend he offerred to "let you out" and you declined and countered with a whole new set of terms. He said no. The end.
